About The Position

Responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance of the facility and the optimal performance of all equipment. This position supports the Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor in implementing preventive maintenance programs and involves leading the diagnosis and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Additionally, the Lead is tasked with maintaining the structural integrity of the facility, including plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED equivalent, or Technical School.
  • 6-8 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, OR 6+ years’ experience in related field of repairing CNC industrial equipment AND/OR training with company equipment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree or trade/mechanical training related to the operation and maintenance of industrial equipment preferred.
  • Forklift license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and directing facilities maintenance activities, including services, preventative maintenance, renovation, repair, and construction projects.
  • Direct and coordinate daily facilities and maintenance operations and leading and training team members.
  • Assist with developing preventive maintenance schedules and ensuring regular inspections and servicing of equipment and facilities.
  • Perform skilled trades tasks like carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, or electrical work in constructing, repairing, or modifying structures such as walls, roofs, and office fixtures.
  • Direct, plan, assign, and monitor facilities, work requests and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks using CMMS platform (i.e. Asset Essentials).
  • Mentor technicians to support their professional growth and align with organizational goals.
  • Document the completion of work orders thoroughly, detailing steps taken, parts installed, and repairs performed on all equipment.
  • Participation in a rotational emergency on-call program is required.
