About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Generalist will be responsible for general building and equipment maintenance, including acting as a water operator. This role also involves snow removal during winter months, general repair and maintenance of forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, company vehicles, and other company-owned equipment. Responsibilities include performing general building repairs such as plumbing, facility lighting, and painting. The associate will also assist with the general cleanliness of the facility and grounds, and moving office equipment. Additionally, the role is responsible for trash removal from the facility and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of truck sheds, maintenance shops, and the bone yard. Some off-shift work will be scheduled, and other seasonal work and duties within the Maintenance Department may be assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

Verifiable knowledge of hand and power tools
Good mechanical ability
Verifiable general knowledge of plumbing skills
General knowledge of electrical and lighting
Ability to operate a forklift, bobcat, shag truck, lull, and all other company vehicles
Clean driving history
Physical ability to lift at least 40-50 lbs
Ability to stand throughout the majority of the shift
Capability to work in all environmental conditions, both inside and outside
Willingness and ability to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Overtime will be required
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in English
Good written skills
Computer skills are a plus
Attention to detail
Ability to work as a team member
6 months work history or participant of any industrial maintenance educational program
Must reside in the United States
