About The Position

The associate will be responsible for general building and equipment maintenance, including water operator duties. This role also involves snow removal during winter months, general repair and maintenance of forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, company vehicles, and other company-owned equipment. Responsibilities include general building repairs such as plumbing, facility lighting, painting, and assisting with the general cleanliness of the facility and grounds, as well as moving office equipment. The associate is also responsible for trash removal from the facility and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of truck sheds, maintenance shops, and the bone yard. Some off-shift work will be scheduled, and other seasonal work and duties within the Maintenance Department may be assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

  • Verifiable knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Good mechanical ability
  • Verifiable general knowledge of plumbing skills
  • General knowledge of electrical and lighting
  • Ability to operate a forklift, bobcat, shag truck, lull, and all other company vehicles
  • Clean driving history
  • Ability to lift at least 40-50 lbs
  • Ability to stand throughout the majority of the shift
  • Capability to work in all environmental conditions (inside and outside)
  • Overtime will be required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Good written skills
  • Computer skills a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • 6 months work history or participant of any industrial maintenance educational program
  • Must reside in the United States
