About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Engineer is primarily responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment, assisting in daily operations and activities as assigned, and providing administrative and technical support as directed by department management. This role is crucial for the successful operation of various mechanical systems within the resort.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of diagnostic tools, including Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM Meters, Compound Gauges and Pressure Gauges
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacture maintenance guidelines
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

Nice To Haves

  • EPA, CPO or NEC certifications preferred
  • HVAC or kitchen experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair all equipment related to the successful operation of boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators and all equipment that is driven by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water or any other power developing energy which has to do with or is related to the operation of all mechanical equipment
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair ride systems and auxiliary equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on ride systems and auxiliary equipment
  • Complete work orders
  • Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs
