About The Position

This role is responsible for performing a variety of electrical maintenance and repair tasks within a facility. The electrician will ensure all electrical systems and equipment are functioning correctly, safely, and in compliance with relevant codes. This includes installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive care of electrical components, as well as maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a facility maintenance or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Experience with conduit bending, wiring, and control circuits.
Familiarity with NFPA 70E and OSHA safety standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Order necessary materials and supplies for electrical installations and repairs.
Install and maintain electrical feeds for 120V, 240V, 208V, and 480V equipment.
Install and repair lighting, outlets, electrical panels, machines, and motors.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, including power failures, faulty wiring, and equipment malfunctions.
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
Work with other maintenance team members to support facility operations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and installations.
Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Special projects as required.
Actively role model all company environmental, health and safety standards.
Establish and effective relationships with Operations, Managers, Supervisors, and Team Members.
Ability to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
