About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Associate is responsible for day-to-day upkeep and repair of facility buildings, including interior and exterior maintenance. The role supports skilled trades and preventative maintenance activities to help keep facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained. Work may also include special projects such as building renovations. The position is safety-sensitive and subject to pre-employment and random drug testing; a positive result, including for marijuana, may result in an offer being rescinded or employment being terminated, regardless of a valid medical marijuana license.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
At least two years of direct experience in a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Proficiency in using and caring for various tools, including corded and cordless power tools.
Experience operating one-person and two-person man lifts and scissor lifts.
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation.
Understanding of electrical Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Ability to obtain and maintain a license from the appropriate gaming authority.
Ability to handle objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Must adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs for facility buildings, including interior and exterior painting and parking lot striping.
Assist with carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work.
Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
Maintain property appearance through landscaping duties such as mowing and weeding.
Power wash parking lots and assist with water softener maintenance.
Support facility renovations.
Assist with environmental monitoring and safety procedures.
Escort vendors as needed.
