About The Position

Under general supervision of the ECL Facilities Supervisor, the Facilities Maintenance Assistant ECL ensures the smooth operation and maintenance of assigned ECL centers. This position performs daily maintenance, health and safety related tasks at designated centers. This position is full-time. This is an onsite work environment and consists of traveling to assigned ECL locations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of basic building maintenance skills and familiarity with local area (i.e., San Fernando and Antelope Valley streets and highways).
Basic computer proficiency skills.
Able to access/navigate/use email/internet and work order tracking software.
This position requires travel. Will consist of travel to and from various ECL locations.
Staff members driving on behalf of CCRC may choose to drive a CCRC vehicle or own vehicle and must meet requirements to be an approved driver including holding and maintaining current auto insurance, current California Driver’s License and DMV clearance required.
Background check required.
Live Scan Clearance / DOJ Fingerprinting
Health Clearance
MVR / DMV clearance in accordance with CCRC’s liability insurance provisions

Credit & Bankruptcy Check: For positions with fiscal responsibility (roles with authority over financial transactions), a credit and bankruptcy check will be conducted to assess financial responsibility in alignment with agency standards and applicable laws, including the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq.) and California Labor Code restrictions on credit reports (Labor Code 1025.5.)

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
Ability to converse in English and Spanish.
