We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance and Grounds Technician! Fairfield County, OH Join our team! Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. Our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual. The Facilities Maintenance and Grounds Technician is responsible for supporting the upkeep, safety, and functionality of Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) properties across Central and Southeastern Ohio. This role performs routine building maintenance, safety inspections, landscaping, and general repairs while maintaining accurate service documentation. The pay range for this position is $19.96 to $23.39/hr based on experience

Requirements

A high school degree or GED equivalent is required
3-4 years of facilities maintenance, corporate environments, residential settings or related environment is required
Knowledge of property maintenance, landscaping, and gardening is required
Basic understanding of electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and general facilities maintenance practices is required
The ability to operate small tractors, lawn equipment, small heavy equipment, and power tools is required
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required
A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle are required
An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required
Ability to carry/push/pull up to 70lbs
Ability to lift heavy equipment, use power tools, and perform manual work
Ability to climb stairs/ladder
Ability to bend, twist, hinge, squat/kneel, and reach above the shoulder
Ability to hand use: grasping, gripping, turning

Nice To Haves

A trade school certificate or an associate's degree in a related field is preferred
Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are preferred
Skills in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems are preferred

Responsibilities

Performs routine checks and maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, and safety systems within ISBH properties
Coordinates with external contractors for specialized services (elevators, security systems, pest control) and evaluates services rendered
Adheres to all OSEA policies and requirements
Assists with installation, setup, and modification of office and clinic equipment
Maintains accurate maintenance logs, service records, and documentation for each ISBH property
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment issues
Performs general internal property repairs, including interior and exterior painting, drywall, lighting, and hardware, to ensure facility functionality
Performs safety inspections to ensure each property is safe and conforms to all state and local protocols
Performs basic building modifications to conform to the changes and needs of ISBH offices and or buildings
Operates maintenance tools to clean and/or repair objects and/or services
Maintains the interior and exterior aesthetic of ISBH properties
Performs general landscaping and groundskeeping of ISBH properties
Manage maintenance supplies, including tools and power equipment
Responds promptly to emergency repair needs
Travel within the designated service area
Performs other duties as assigned
