About The Position
The Facilities Lead oversees facility operations for an assigned building within Uline’s network. The role plans preventative maintenance, budgets, capital expenses, and projects; schedules, assigns, and performs facility work; ensures landscaping, janitorial, and security services meet Uline standards; responds to emergency maintenance requests; assists with construction project management; and records maintenance activities and prepares management reports. The position is on-site at Uline’s Wisconsin Distribution Center in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with MEP, landscaping, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous hands-on warehouse facilities management experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead facility operations for an assigned building.
- Plan preventative maintenance, budgets, capital expenses, and projects.
- Schedule, assign, and perform projects involving carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work.
- Ensure landscaping, janitorial, and security services meet Uline standards.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues.
- Assist with construction project management.
- Record maintenance activities and prepare reports for management.
