About The Position

The Facilities Janitor/Groundskeeper will uphold the uncompromising standards of cleanliness and sanitation by performing thorough cleaning, custodial, and light maintenance tasks across the FW Paso Robles main campus and exterior grounds.

Requirements

Prior experience in janitorial work, commercial specific preferred
Basic mathematical skills
Ability to use phone and computer to access maintenance software
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Ability to define problems, collect information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to learn and care about cleanliness of workplace
Ability to carry out detailed oral and written instructions

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, breakrooms, elevator, and common areas using general household and commercial grade practices.
Clean windows as needed.
Restock all supplies
Wax and buff concrete floors
Pick up trash daily across campus to ensure cleanliness in all areas.
Sweep and use leaf blower on walkways, sidewalks, entrance ways, and dumpster enclosures
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust inside facility areas regularly.
Hose off picnic tables and benches
Wipe off door handles and handrails
Preform simple maintenance repairs as assigned
Report on maintenance issues or safety hazards
Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners across campus.
Organize recycling product waste areas.
Complete initial and ongoing safety trainings
Other duties as assigned
