About The Position

Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, the incumbent adjusts, repairs, troubleshoots, and maintains all HVAC equipment and systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the proper operation of HVAC systems across various facilities, maintaining air quality, and supporting business operations.

Requirements

  • Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
  • Must possess excellent hand/eye coordination as well as close vision.
  • Must maintain current EPA Universal technician certification as required by 40 CFR part 82 subpart F.
  • Must possess a basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be able to read, understand, and interpret schematics, plans, and diagrams and drawings.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • High school diploma or technical certificate.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience with commercial/industrial HVAC equipment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.
  • Conducts walk-through inspections of all HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Maintains air quality, airflow, and temperature at on and off-site facilities.
  • Adjusts valves to regulate temperature of lubrication oil and flow of water through the system.
  • Records gauge readings, repairs completed, and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
  • Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.
  • Ensures minimal interruption to business operations and prioritizes projects appropriately by understanding company policies, procedures, and schedules.
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility.
  • Performs all other related and compatible/non-compatible duties as assigned.
