About The Position
Oxford Casino Hotel, located in Oxford, Maine, is part of Churchill Downs Incorporated and has seen significant growth since it opened in 2012. The casino boasts a variety of gaming options for our visitors, including 23 table games and over 900 of the latest and most popular slot machines. The property also features 2 restaurants, the Ox Pub, and the Oxford Express, and a 107-room hotel which includes 6 well-appointed suites. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- If between the ages of 18-21, must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate licensing from the Maine Gaming Commission.
- Must be able to work independently or in team scenarios, sometimes during crowded conditions.
- Must demonstrate the ability to interact positively with the public.
- Must be detail-oriented and efficient, with good time-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Performs in-depth, detailed cleaning tasks outside of the regular housekeeping routine.
- Cleans carpets, including the use of carpet extracting equipment.
- Performs high dusting tasks in the rafters, light fixtures, and other hard-to-reach areas using ladders and a hydraulic lift.
- Cleans and polishes floors, using an autoscrubber.
- Performs annual/ semi-annual floor care, including stripping and waxing of floors.
- Vacuums carpet areas with a high-level of detail.
- Works outdoors patrolling the parking lots and walkways picking up refuse and debris.
- Observes and reports on conditions that require attention and/or repair.
- Performs other jobs assigned as directed by management.
- Practices acceptable grooming and uniform standards. Overall appearance is to be professional at all times.
