The Facilities Field Technician maintains restaurants through preventative maintenance on all aspects of the restaurant. This role assists the Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level, performing facility maintenance and repair through monthly site visits and analysis of restaurants, and formulating preventative maintenance schedules for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of restaurant facilities. The technician will also carry out set procedures for facility emergencies, train staff on maintenance and repair, and ensure proper maintenance practices are followed. Additionally, they will conduct maintenance seminars, provide visit recaps to operations teams, identify issues contributing to high maintenance costs, and perform equipment and building repairs. The role includes performing new store turnover, 90-day, and one-year walks/punches, serving as a liaison between restaurants, landlords, contractors, and vendors, and investigating facilities issues. The technician will also act as the facilities representative at operations management meetings, provide field support to the Development Department, and follow Development Department guidelines. Other duties may be assigned to advance projects or resolve business issues.
