About The Position

The Facilities & Field Support Specialist is responsible for performing facility maintenance, field support functions, and on-site service tasks for SiteLine Services and its sister company, Taylor County Waste Services (CWS). This position works both at company facilities and on the owner’s private property, ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained buildings, grounds, equipment, and infrastructure. The role supports daily operations, troubleshooting, repairs, and general upkeep to ensure all properties and facilities meet operational, safety, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance, field support, construction, or related work.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Basic skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical repair.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with landscaping, property maintenance, or agricultural equipment.
  • OSHA training or safety certifications.
  • Experience working in industrial, construction, or waste services environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment for both SiteLine Services and CWS.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, grounds, and structural components, addressing issues promptly.
  • Complete minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality of all workspaces, storage areas, and operational facilities.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance projects when needed.
  • Support day-to-day operational needs across multiple sites, including the owner’s private property.
  • Assist with setup, teardown, and maintenance of job sites, equipment staging areas, and field operations.
  • Provide hands-on support for property improvements, landscaping, fencing, and infrastructure upkeep.
  • Safely operate company vehicles, small machinery, and equipment such as tractors, mowers, or utility vehicles.
  • Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety policies and procedures.
  • Identify safety hazards and communicate corrective actions to management.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and documentation of tools, materials, and chemicals.
  • Support emergency repairs and after-hours needs when necessary.
  • Assist with inventory control, supply restocking, and facility-related purchases.
  • Coordinate with management regarding maintenance schedules, project updates, and work orders.
  • Maintain accurate logs of completed work, inspections, and materials used.
  • Provide support during company events, inspections, or special projects.
