About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to receive, record, distribute, and track all Property Work Orders to the appropriate service crew to ensure timely and complete service is performed to meet expectations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • A minimum of three months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and annual MVRs, according to company guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medications that may impair your ability to operate a vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a detailed Work Order Log.
  • Record information such as date, time, name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered.
  • Prepare written Work Orders and distribute them to the appropriate service crew.
  • Schedule service calls and dispatch crews.
  • Determine the priority of assigned Work Orders.
  • Call or write customers to ensure satisfactory performance of service.
  • Expedite Work Orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments.
  • Create reports that track time to complete Work Orders, types of repairs, and other reports to assist in improving the timeliness and types of Work Orders.
  • Review group resumes and schedule technicians to perform required work.
  • Assist with assigning Preventive Maintenance Jobs.
  • Assist with answering phones in the Department.
  • Drive a company vehicle and/or company-insured vehicle, following safe driving practices and obeying all traffic laws.
  • Report any accidents immediately and cooperate fully with insurance claims investigations.
