About The Position

Del Monte Foods, the Foods Division of Fresh Del Monte, is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and trusted Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of Supply Chain & Logistics. This role will also oversee facilities coordination for the Pittsburgh headquarters. The individual will act as a strategic partner, ensuring the VP can operate at full capacity while maintaining a high-performing, well-run workplace environment. This position blends executive support, operational coordination, and facilities oversight, requiring strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably in operations or supply chain environments
  • Experience with office or facilities coordination strongly preferred
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars, priorities, and scheduling with a focus on maximizing executive effectiveness.
  • Help coordinate materials for leadership meetings, business reviews, and executive presentations.
  • Act as a gatekeeper and facilitator, ensuring alignment on priorities and efficient use of time.
  • Coordinate travel, logistics, and itineraries with precision and foresight.
  • Support communication flow between the VP and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Drive follow-ups on key initiatives, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Support supply chain leadership meetings, including agenda creation, note-taking, and action tracking.
  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and communications for internal teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities across supply chain, logistics, and corporate teams.
  • Bring structure and organization to fast-moving priorities.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the headquarters facility to ensure a safe, efficient, and professional environment.
  • Manage vendor relationships (maintenance, cleaning, security, etc.) and service contracts.
  • Coordinate office space planning, seating, and workplace experience initiatives.
  • Lead response efforts for facility-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Support company events, meetings, and on-site experiences.
  • Help foster a high-performance, team-first culture within the headquarters.
  • Support leadership engagement activities, team events, and all-hands coordination.
  • Act as a connector across teams, reinforcing communication and collaboration.
  • Create a welcoming and professional environment for employees and visitors.
