About The Position

Loud And Live is seeking a dependable, hands-on, and proactive Facilities & Equestrian Center Manager to oversee the daily operation, maintenance, safety, and readiness of the Tropical Park Equestrian Center and associated venue facilities. This role serves as the primary on-site manager for the park and equestrian complex and is responsible for providing daily leadership and oversight of stable operations, equestrian facilities, grounds maintenance, venue upkeep, and operational readiness. The position ensures that the barns, stables, arenas, support facilities, and surrounding venue infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards for both everyday use and special events. Reporting to the General Manager of Venues, this role acts as the day-to-day steward of the facility and serves as a key operational resource supporting equestrian activities, venue operations, maintenance projects, event preparation, and facility improvements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, mechanically inclined, comfortable managing outdoor facilities, and capable of balancing stable operations with broader venue maintenance responsibilities. Provides daily on-site leadership, facility oversight, and operational management of the equestrian complex and venue facilities while ensuring the safety, maintenance, cleanliness, and readiness of all grounds, arenas, stables, and operational infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in facility management, property maintenance, equestrian operations, agricultural operations, groundskeeping, venue operations, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of facility maintenance, grounds management, and operational upkeep
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of organization
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of facility conditions and operational needs
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in active venue environments
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and event schedules as needed
  • Valid Florida Driver's License required
  • Clean driving record preferred
  • Comfortable operating: Pickup trucks, Utility vehicles, Trailers, Tractors and grounds equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience overseeing barns, stables, arenas, equestrian facilities, or agricultural properties preferred
  • Experience managing equestrian facilities, boarding operations, show grounds, training facilities, or agricultural properties
  • Knowledge of arena preparation and equestrian facility maintenance preferred
  • Experience operating tractors, utility vehicles, landscaping equipment, and maintenance tools preferred
  • Forklift or equipment certifications a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary on-site manager of the equestrian center, barns, stables, and arena facilities
  • Provide daily leadership and oversight of stable operations and equine facility activities
  • Ensure barns, stalls, wash areas, tack rooms, storage facilities, and support areas remain clean, safe, organized, and operational
  • Coordinate and oversee stable staff, maintenance personnel, vendors, and contractors supporting equestrian operations
  • Monitor facility conditions and proactively identify maintenance, safety, and operational concerns
  • Support arena preparation and facility readiness for equestrian activities, training, competitions, exhibitions, and special events
  • Ensure daily compliance with facility standards, operational procedures, and county requirements
  • Maintain regular on-site presence during operating hours and serve as the primary operational contact for equestrian facility needs
  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance and operational readiness of venue facilities, event spaces, storage areas, and surrounding property grounds
  • Perform and coordinate general facility maintenance including minor repairs, painting, fixture replacement, fencing repairs, and infrastructure upkeep
  • Manage landscaping, pressure washing, groundskeeping, trash removal, and overall property presentation
  • Monitor venue facilities for maintenance needs, operational deficiencies, and safety concerns
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance programs for buildings, arenas, grounds, and operational infrastructure
  • Assist with special facility improvement projects and venue enhancement initiatives
  • Support venue preparation for concerts, festivals, sporting events, equestrian events, and special programs
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown activities including fencing, barricades, signage, tents, operational infrastructure, and venue support equipment
  • Coordinate with production, event operations, concessions, and venue management teams to ensure facility readiness
  • Support emergency response and operational troubleshooting during events when necessary
  • Coordinate third-party vendors and contractors performing maintenance, repairs, landscaping, arena preparation, and facility improvement projects
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure work is completed according to operational standards
  • Assist with obtaining quotes, scheduling services, and managing facility-related work orders
  • Support relationships with county representatives, facility stakeholders, and equestrian users
  • Ensure facilities remain safe, clean, and compliant with operational standards and county requirements
  • Conduct routine inspections of barns, arenas, grounds, and facility infrastructure
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards proactively
  • Maintain proper storage and handling of maintenance equipment, tools, chemicals, and operational supplies
  • Support compliance with applicable safety procedures and operational policies
  • Operate and maintain facility equipment including tractors, utility vehicles, pressure washers, landscaping equipment, trailers, and maintenance tools
  • Monitor operational equipment and coordinate repairs and maintenance when necessary
  • Maintain organization and accountability of facility-related inventory, supplies, tools, and equipment
  • Assist with warehouse and storage organization related to venue and facility operations
