The Facilities Engineering Manager will manage facilities engineering personnel and contractors involved in facility design and construction, equipment and machinery installation, maintenance, environmental issues, utility services, security services, and grounds and services. The Facilities Engineering Manager is responsible for providing an EHS strategy that meets the corporate guidelines and exceeds the OSHA standards; for ensuring necessary maintenance is provided to keep the facility, machine tools, and equipment in operating condition; and for maintaining a crib system that supports machine availability targets and is cost effective. Due to the critical urgency of equipment uptime and the facilities combination of fabrication, machining, assembly, and distribution operations, considerable emphasis is placed on preventive maintenance and expeditious emergency repairs. Keeps facility management informed of special problems and status of maintenance projects and recommends changes to improve maintenance procedures.
