About The Position
The Maintenance Department is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Electrician with a working knowledge of electrical code (NEC codes), electrical mathematics, solid state control devices, and ARC Flash codes. Responsibilities include moving receptacles, adding receptacles or lights to an existing circuit, moving or adding switches to an existing circuit, replacing a panel with a like-for-like panel, replacing a motor with a like-for-like motor, and adding a circuit to an existing conduit home run.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience troubleshooting electrical systems, electronic, and all equipment
- Completion of an accredited trade school or four years of electrical experience with a strong maintenance background
- Ability to differentiate colors
- Solid reading and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to keep accurate written records
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/jobs
- Excellent people skills
- Solid computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Demonstrable communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
