The Facilities Electrical Engineer will be responsible for oversight of electrical system maintenance and installation activities on facilities maintenance and building core and shell projects. This includes review of design documents, submittals, RFI’s, schedules, and work progress in the field while assuring that project scope, cost, and schedule are being met. This position will regularly interact with construction contractor personnel while also reporting project status to Senior staff. The Facilities Electrical Engineer assists with commissioning, preventative maintenance, emergency response, repair, and technical direction on electrical equipment and installations. In addition, this position will review and enhance preventative maintenance procedures on facilities power systems. The Facilities Electrical Engineer will assist in creating and evaluating Value Engineering ideas and review project change orders relating to electrical installation. The position requires working in a collaborative environment with all project staff disciplines to proactively identify issues, root cause problems, and drive continuous improvement. This position will be based in Auburn Hills, MI at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technical Center.
