About The Position
The Senior Electrical Engineer supports electrical design, capital projects, and infrastructure improvements across Goodyear’s global facilities. This role provides technical expertise, supports project execution, and ensures reliable, safe, and compliant electrical systems. This role matters because it supports reliable and safe electrical infrastructure across facilities, contributes to successful execution of capital projects, enhances operational efficiency and system performance, and ensures compliance with safety and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in industrial, construction, consulting, or power systems environments
- Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and safety standards (NFPA, IEC, IEEE)
- Experience with design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel (~20%)
Responsibilities
- Support electrical design and execution for facility projects, including upgrades and new construction
- Provide technical support to manufacturing plants and cross-functional teams
- Assist with commissioning, troubleshooting, and system optimization
- Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and suppliers
- Identify and mitigate project and technical risks
