About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for a Facilities Custodian in Valencia, CA. As a Facilities Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of facilities and grounds. This includes performing various cleaning tasks, stocking supplies, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements

• 1+ Years of Experience
• Must pass a drug and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in manufacturing, janitorial, warehouse, maintenance, or industrial cleaning environments preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S/6S principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE.
• Lift up to 35lbs.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuum and clean floors as required.
• Empties trash containers and re-lines with plastic bags.
• Stock all restroom facilities with toilet paper and paper towels and soap.
• Maintains cleanliness of restroom sinks, toilets, urinals and mirrors.
• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains facilities and grounds by cleaning, sweeping, etc.
• Maintains stock of cleaning and restroom supplies.
• Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.
• Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.
• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
