About The Position
The Facility Custodian is responsible for assisting with general housekeeping and light maintenance of the work site and grounds. This includes performing restroom maintenance and cleaning, ensuring restrooms are stocked with necessary products, properly breaking down and disposing of cardboard using a baler, emptying trash receptacles, and maintaining clean floors through mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and/or using a floor scrubber. Additional duties involve dusting shelves and products, replacing light bulbs as needed, and potentially performing lawn mowing/maintenance and snow removal.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general housekeeping and light maintenance of the work site and grounds.
- Perform restroom maintenance and cleaning.
- Keep restrooms stocked with toilet tissue, soap dispensers filled, paper towels dispensers filled, and all other restroom products stocked.
- Properly break down and dispose of cardboard including use of cardboard baler.
- Empty all trash receptacles and dispose of trash properly.
- Keep floors in clean condition to include mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and/or floor scrubber.
- Dusting shelves, products, etc.
- Replace light bulbs as necessary.
- Perform possible lawn mowing/maintenance and snow removal.
