About The Position

We’re hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Custodian to join our team. In this part-time (mornings preferred) role, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and presentable environment across Alturas Analytics’ facilities through daily cleaning, periodic deep cleaning, light maintenance, and basic exterior upkeep. You’ll play an important role in supporting a comfortable workplace that allows our team to focus on high-quality scientific work. Alturas Analytics, Inc. is a contract research organization, bioanalytical laboratory providing personalized MS/MS bioanalytical services to the pharma and biotech industries worldwide. Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1-3 years of work experience
• Current driver’s license
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing cleaning and maintenance needs
• Good communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with supervisors

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize Alturas facilities, including kitchen, bathrooms, office spaces, and laboratory spaces, maintaining a consistent standard of cleanliness throughout work hours
• Perform periodic deep-cleaning, such as shampooing carpet and office furniture
• Perform light maintenance in facilities, including painting, dusting light fixtures, glass cleaning, and HVAC filter replacement
• Communicate equipment malfunctions, supply needs, and building repair issues to supervisor promptly
• Perform exterior maintenance, including: General landscaping upkeep (weeding, light pruning, raking and disposal of leaves and seasonal debris), Snow and ice removal from walkways, entrances, Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas (sweeping sidewalks, entryways)
• Provide assistance to Laboratory Management and Office Manager as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
