About The Position

The Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the corporate and mailing facilities. This role requires a minimum of one year of experience in custodial work, knowledge of cleaning implements and tools, and the ability to perform tasks independently and as part of a team. The position involves various physical demands and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Completion of 9th grade or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Minimum one year of experience and/or training in custodial work.
  • Knowledge of cleaning implements and use of hand tools.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in interpersonal skills, memory, attention to detail, calculation, reading, evaluating, comprehension, and organizing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work independently and be a team player.
  • Adaptable to work assignments and flexible for urgent trade requirements.
  • Must pass Level II background checks.
  • Must pass the Bloodborne Pathogen Training.
  • Must use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed to perform specific tasks.

Responsibilities
