Requirements

  • At least 6 months of previous cleaning experience
  • Ability to accommodate potential early start for snow response
  • Availability approximately one Saturday or Sunday a month for about two hours
  • A valid New York State Driver’s License and agency approval of driving record according to agency's Policy and Procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of classrooms and other areas of the agencies property
  • Load and unload school materials and office supplies
  • Assist in the moving of office and institutional furniture and equipment
  • Maintain building security
  • Stock paper supplies
  • Maintain school equipment
  • Responsible for grounds maintenance tasks
  • Assist Facilities Maintenance Technicians in any required tasks
  • Must have flexible schedule to accommodate any needs and shifts in agency operating hours and be able to fill-in when other staff members are absent
