About The Position

Direct Communications is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Facilities Custodian to maintain their office in Unity, ME. The role involves ensuring the office environment is clean, safe, and functional.

Requirements

Ability to maintain the 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM schedule consistently.
Capability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs frequently, climb ladders, and handle repetitive motion.
Must have a standard Driver’s License with a good driving record.
Pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of building interiors and exteriors to identify maintenance needs.
Handle minor repairs such as changing light bulbs, patching walls, and painting.
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas according to established protocols.
Keep accurate janitorial records, including chemical safety data sheets.
