About The Position

The Facilities Coordinator works with Shoe Palace’s Construction & Facilities Team to coordinate maintenance, troubleshoot facility issues, and support retail locations. This office-based role manages incoming work orders, works with store teams and vendors to resolve maintenance concerns, and helps keep stores in good working condition. The coordinator documents and tracks work, follows up on pending and urgent issues, and supports daily facilities operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or higher.
Computer proficiency for an office-based job.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Team player with a strong work ethic.
Self-motivated and driven, with the initiative to provide long-term solutions to issues.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of combined electrical and facilities maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Manage incoming work orders, prioritize requests, and coordinate timely resolutions with store teams, District Managers, and vendors.
Connect with store teams through FaceTime, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms to assess maintenance concerns, troubleshoot issues, and determine a course of action.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance involving plumbing, restroom fixtures, doors, locks, hardware, lighting, HVAC, electrical, flooring, roofing, and other facility-related needs.
Coordinate vendor services, schedule appointments, monitor progress, and ensure completed work meets company standards.
Track outstanding work orders and follow up on pending repairs to ensure requests are completed across all priority levels.
Maintain work order documentation, update facility tracking systems, and prepare reports on maintenance activity and store readiness.
Partner with the Facilities Management Team to support daily operations, identify recurring maintenance concerns, and keep retail locations in good working condition.
Monitor and follow up on assigned maintenance issues, vendor activity, and urgent store needs outside regular business hours as needed.
Perform other duties as applicable.
