About The Position

Glen Arbour Golf Course & Deerfield Pub are seeking a proactive and dependable Facilities Coordinator for a full-time, permanent opportunity overseeing the maintenance, repair, safety, and overall functionality of our facilities. This role plays a critical part in supporting an exceptional experience for our members, guests, and employees by ensuring our buildings and property are well maintained and presented to a high standard. Reporting to the General Manager, the Facilities Coordinator is responsible for supporting facility operations across the Clubhouse, Canteen, and associated buildings. You will coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, contractor relationships, inventory management, safety initiatives, and facility improvement projects while serving as a key resource for maintaining operational excellence throughout the property.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in facilities coordination, building maintenance, property maintenance, or a similar hands-on role.
  • Practical knowledge of general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical systems, and repair work.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, follow through, and manage day-to-day facility needs.
  • Strong technology and administrative capability, including confidence using Microsoft Office, maintenance tracking or work order systems, and facility-related digital tools to support accurate records, reporting, documentation, and day-to-day operational follow-through.
  • A valid driver’s licence with a satisfactory driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade certification, technical training, or related maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, facility compliance requirements, or occupational health and safety practices.
  • Experience in hospitality, recreation, golf, resort, or property management environments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and completing day-to-day repairs, maintenance, and facility inspections across the Clubhouse, Canteen, and associated buildings.
  • Planning preventative maintenance, identifying required repairs, and supporting facility improvement projects.
  • Working with contractors and vendors to obtain quotes, coordinate service, and ensure work meets quality and safety expectations.
  • Maintaining supplies, equipment, facility records, keys, access systems, invoices, and related documentation.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of facility technology, audiovisual equipment, and related systems, including basic troubleshooting, coordinating external service providers, and keeping accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, reports, and operational procedures.
  • Supporting health, safety, security, emergency preparedness, fire drills, and compliance-related activities.
  • Helping maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and employees.
  • Supporting recycling, waste management, sustainability initiatives, and other operational priorities as needed.
