About The Position

We’re excited to share a new opportunity for a full-time Facilities Coordinator, where you'll address residents' daily needs, coordinate activities for designated neighborhoods, and serve as a liaison between the General Services Department, residents, and staff. We are seeking a dynamic, driven professional who will play a critical role in the grand opening of Emerson Lakes, one of Erickson Senior Living’s most anticipated new communities in beautiful Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Emerson Lakes will be a premier, state-of-the-art continuing care retirement community designed to serve more than 1,500 residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. This gated community will feature an impressive array of amenities, including multiple restaurants, a stunning outdoor swimming pool, a cutting-edge fitness center, an onsite medical center, and much more. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment or within a department with responsibility for facilities management
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Working knowledge of building systems
  • Ability to assess resident or other complaints and resolve disputes in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to work autonomously

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with new residents to explain the operation of each department within General Services
  • Investigate complaints, suggestions, and occurrences
  • Select and oversee the work of outside contractors for projects.
  • Audit all facilities for proper maintenance, repair, and cleanliness; coordinates needed repairs with the appropriate department(s)
  • Conduct surveys on services recently performed for residents and other departments
  • Coordinate re-occupancies of units in assigned neighborhoods
