About The Position

This is a full-time Facilities Coordinator position at Emerson Lakes by Erickson Senior Living. The role involves addressing residents' daily needs, coordinating activities for designated neighborhoods, and serving as a liaison between the General Services Department, residents, and staff. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the grand opening of Emerson Lakes, a new state-of-the-art continuing care retirement community in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Emerson Lakes is designed to serve over 1,500 residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care, featuring amenities like multiple restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and an onsite medical center. The community is part of Erickson Senior Living's national network, which has been helping people live better lives since 1983, serving 27,000 residents with a team of more than 14,000 employees. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment or within a department with responsibility for facilities management
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Working knowledge of building systems
  • Ability to assess resident or other complaints and resolve disputes in a friendly and professional manner

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with new residents to explain the operation of each department within General Services
  • Investigate complaints, suggestions, and occurrences
  • Select and oversee the work of outside contractors for projects
  • Audit all facilities for proper maintenance, repair, and cleanliness; coordinates needed repairs with the appropriate department(s)
  • Conduct surveys on services recently performed for residents and other departments
  • Coordinate re-occupancies of units in assigned neighborhoods
