Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software necessary to create and maintain reports and logs.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least two years of related experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Requirement of Multi-Factor Authentication apps on cell phone

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates facility activities, often in one building, which may include general repairs and maintenance, construction, relocations, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security and alarm systems, telecommunications systems, utilities, painting, patching, pest control, janitorial, signage, furniture and equipment set ups, and cubicle reconfigurations.
  • Handles building equipment emergencies, and communicates as the focal point between company employees and outside contractors called in to fix problems.
  • Manages building and equipment maintenance schedules, runs tests on building security systems, and participates in the creation of action plans in preparation for emergencies.
  • Organizes, schedules, and documents work activities; reviews activity progress; and assures completion.
  • Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly.
  • Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.
  • Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
  • Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility.
  • Participates on emergency preparedness planning team.
  • Applies, or assists with application, for required environmental permits.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies; reorders as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
