About The Position

Eide Chrysler St. Cloud is a growing, customer-focused automotive dealership committed to providing an exceptional experience for our guests and a professional, safe, and clean environment for our employees. As our dealership continues to grow, we are looking for a dependable and hands-on Facilities Manager / Janitor to help maintain and improve our facility. Position Summary The Facilities Manager / Janitor is responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, safety, and general maintenance of the dealership’s buildings and grounds. This role combines daily janitorial duties with light maintenance and facilities oversight, ensuring the dealership remains clean, functional, and welcoming at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior janitorial, facilities, or maintenance experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance and cleaning equipment
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing, bending, and walking throughout the day
  • Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain showroom, offices, restrooms, service areas, break rooms, and common spaces
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
  • Empty trash and recycling and manage disposal schedules
  • Clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces
  • Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies
  • Perform routine building inspections to identify maintenance or safety issues
  • Handle minor repairs (light plumbing, painting, basic electrical, fixtures, door hardware, etc.)
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for larger repairs or services
  • Assist with seasonal tasks (snow removal coordination, lawn care support, weather preparation)
  • Maintain service bays and shop cleanliness standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and cleanliness standards
  • Maintain proper storage and organization of supplies and equipment
  • Set up and break down rooms for meetings, events, or dealership functions
  • Respond promptly to facility-related issues during business hours
