About The Position

This role is responsible for managing material waste, facility upkeep, hazardous materials compliance, and vendor coordination. The Facilities Coordinator II will lead the collection and processing of recyclable trash, operate machinery, and prepare hazardous waste for removal. They will also maintain clean and decontaminated areas, mix cleaning solutions, and manage Safety Data Sheets. Additionally, the role involves monitoring waste levels, coordinating with disposal vendors, and assisting Level I coordinators during peak times. The position emphasizes alignment with company values and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the collection and processing of recyclable trash.
• Operate recycle waste machinery and tear down boxes.
• Appropriately identify and prepare hazardous waste for removal by specialized companies.
• Maintain clean, decontaminated flooring and surfaces in high-traffic or specialized warehouse areas.
• Mix cleaning solutions/detergents according to chemical specifications.
• Maintain SDS (Safety Data Sheets) records for facility cleaning supplies.
• Monitor waste levels and coordinate pickups with outside disposal vendors.
• Exhibits Core Values and engages with the team in Village programming.
• Assists Level I coordinators during peak volume.
