This role is part of the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), designed for recent college graduates with a Facilities-related degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Civil, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering or other related degree). The program provides professional and technical training, on-the-job learning, and meaningful assignments with a sense of ownership over systems, projects, and budgets. Participants will rotate through two diverse positions within Facilities over a 2-year period. As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for building utility systems supporting a semiconductor wafer fab, managing over 150 different utility systems (chemicals, gasses, electrical, water, HVAC, waste, vacuum, and controls) that operate 24/7. You will collaborate with the manufacturing team to understand utility system impacts on processes and reduce consumption. Specifically, within the Facilities Controls and Automation team, you will work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), SCADA systems, field instrumentation, motor drives, and industrial networks to ensure safe and reliable facility automation with effective remote monitoring and control.
