About The Position
Webco is seeking a Facilities Construction Technician to help maintain and improve our buildings, grounds, and facilities. This hands-on role performs construction, renovation, repair, and preventative maintenance projects while ensuring a safe, functional, and professional work environment.
Requirements
- Experience in construction, carpentry, facilities maintenance, or related trades
- Ability to read construction drawings and complete projects independently
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Nice To Haves
- Technical or vocational training preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform general construction, maintenance, and repair work
- Build walls, install and finish drywall, and complete painting projects
- Perform trim carpentry, cabinet construction, and door installation
- Install and repair ceiling systems, roofing, and building siding
- Read blueprints and construction drawings
- Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues
- Coordinate with subcontractors and support facility improvement projects
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards
