About The Position

The Facilities Care Team Member is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities that support the mission of Park Cities Baptist Church. This role involves performing various janitorial duties to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the entire facility. The duties may include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, managing trash receptacles, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, maintaining common areas, restocking supplies, and reporting any safety concerns or maintenance needs. The position offers two schedule options, both involving afternoon/evening shifts of 4-6 hours per shift.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish or bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds for sustained periods.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be committed to the mission of Park Cities Baptist Church.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms throughout the facility on each shift.
  • Empty and replace trash receptacles in all assigned areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform general janitorial duties as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and other assigned spaces.
  • Restock restroom supplies and notify supervisor of any shortages or maintenance needs.
  • Report any safety concerns, damages, or irregularities to the Facilities team.
  • All other duties as assigned.
