About The Position

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II for its flagship market in North America. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of duties to maintain and repair buildings and plant utility equipment. The technician will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on various building components and utility systems, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, working collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors, and adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to challenge and pass Coca-Cola Technical Aptitude Assessment.
  • Ability to pass background screening.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Must not require Coca-Cola Company sponsorship for employment status.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs to plant building components including doors, windows, rapid rollup doors, warehouse dock doors, drywall, flooring, utility piping, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Execute mechanical tasks involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plant utility equipment such as HVAC systems, steam boilers, condensate pumps, air compressors, cooling towers, and industrial chillers.
  • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and soldering equipment.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and electrical schematics.
  • Use SAP CMMS to generate work orders and document completed repairs.
  • Diagnose problems, replace faulty parts, and adjust settings on HVAC systems and plant utility equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including air filter replacement.
  • Report building or utility system deficiencies to supervision.
  • Comply with plant safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Operate forklifts and scissors lifts for maintenance tasks and overhead repairs.
  • Work with outside plant contractors on building and utility system repairs.
  • Be available outside of regular shift hours for occasional weekend work.
  • Work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
