About The Position

Maintains a safe, functional, and clean office environment by performing routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations. The compensation for this role is market competitive with a base salary range of $60,000-$75,000. We intend to offer the selected candidate a base salary within this range, based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill set, job-related experience, and location. Requirements

  • General knowledge of painting, electrical, HVAC and routine office maintenance/cleaning.
  • Ability to safely use common hand and power tools, cleaning supplies.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees and management.
  • Positive attitude required.
  • Proven experience in building maintenance or a related handyman role.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior professional painting experience is a HUGE plus.
  • Experience with, or interest in, technology (Computers, A/V, etc) also a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of office spaces, lighting, and plumbing, and perform minor repairs on walls, doors, ceilings, and flooring.
  • Fix leaky faucets and sinks; replace light bulbs; repair furniture; and manage minor HVAC issues.
  • Assemble, install, and move office furniture, desk, tables, and whiteboards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on appliances (microwaves, coffee makers), furniture (tables, desks) and facility systems to prevent equipment failure.
  • Perform painting, minor carpentry, and ensure office spaces are orderly.
