The Facilities Associate Project Manager assists with the coordination of day-to-day administrative functions and operations of facility and security management for the College of Medicine/Office of Health Sciences (COM/OHS), managing a portfolio of over 10 buildings. These buildings range from research, administration, and educational spaces. The role serves as a primary contact and provides regular communication to faculty, staff, and students. Responsibilities include coordinating and assisting with renovation projects, physical operations and maintenance, access control management, equipment/access audits, and safety issues. The position involves creating and enforcing standard operating procedures managed by the COM facilities team, and handling tasks related to lab closeouts and refreshes. This includes communication with departments, contractors, and other contacts, as well as contractor coordination, equipment disposal/Surplus, and waste disposal. The role also involves identifying, investigating/auditing, and resolving issues related to building safety standards and regulations, including OSHA, ADA, and fire and building codes. Administrative functions include Workday reporting, requisition submissions, management of the COM Facilities shared drive, and reporting from various internal systems. The Facilities Associate Project Manager is responsible for responding to after-hours safety and security issues on a rotating schedule and sending communications about facility issues/outages to various audiences. Additional duties may be assigned.
