Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care is in need of a Facilities Assistant.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High school degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum Experience: Two (2) years maintenance experience in health care facility.
  • Some construction and/or trades experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the physical environment of the administration building and ICC to include repairs, preventive maintenance and cleaning measures to meet State and Federal regulations.
  • Completes inspections and documents completed services by maintaining appropriate logs, records and form submissions as set forth by the maintenance program.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the administration building and ICC. Performs inspections of patient rooms, common areas and service areas to ensure cleanliness, sanitation and safety measures are met.
  • Assists in maintaining the Emergency Operations Plan to include participating in fire drills and other emergency preparedness exercises.
  • Orders maintenance, kitchen, housekeeping and laundry supplies as needed. Stocks supplies.
  • Takes on call for after hour emergencies related to the ICC building or disaster response.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
