About The Position

The purpose of this job is to provide enterprise-wide office support, office maintenance, and cleanup services. This position will carry out the functions of assisting with facility and office maintenance, shipping and receiving, transporting company-wide file storage, and assisting employees with miscellaneous requests. This position exists to support ICW Group offices by ensuring an operational workplace. This position requires working onsite Monday - Friday.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related facilities or office experience and/or training desired.
  • Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record required.
  • Ability to answer calls professionally, process service requests, and pick-up/distribute mail and packages.
  • Ability to perform routine inspections of and perform office maintenance and tidying up tasks inside and outside office buildings.
  • Ability to collaborate with project managers, facilities operational team members, and other team members.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong sense of organization and recollection.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer services skills for effective communication with other departments, vendors, and couriers.
  • Must be able bodied and able to lift 60lbs or more.
  • Requires use of company vehicle to travel to other locations and off-site storage.

Responsibilities

  • Provides office support to the Enterprise in a timely and professional manner.
  • Performs furniture set-up and breakdown for meetings and special events, which includes moving furniture, chairs, tables, projectors, easels, installing glass boards, etc.
  • Sorts parcels in transit and arranges pick-up or delivery to appropriate location.
  • Drives company van to pick up and deliver mail and packages from various locations.
  • Transports file boxes and supplies between company and offsite storage.
  • Assists with shipping, receiving and delivery of supplies such as copy paper, envelopes, coffee, equipment, etc. while using a supply cart, dolly, or pallet jack.
  • Maintains well-stocked and organized work area and supply closet and carts.
  • Follows all safety procedures.
  • Acts as an ambassador and point of contact for building occupants and team members.
  • Seeks opportunities to improve the work environment for team members and find ways to be more efficient in the delivery of services.
  • Assists in the day-to-day operations of the facility to ensure the highest level of efficiency without disruption to the business.
  • Performs duties required to keep equipment, systems, buildings, and grounds ready for use.
  • Performs light physical labor assisting with minor workstation/office adjustments, installing keyboard trays, resetting clocks, hanging frames and hooks, replacing light bulbs, and replacing nametags.
  • Relocates and transports furniture and equipment between office locations and offsite storage.
  • Performs meter reads and facilities checks around the building.
  • Ensures common areas and conference rooms are properly organized and ready for use daily.
  • Identifies faults or problems in equipment and machinery and escalates concerns to department leadership as needed.
