About The Position
The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department is accepting applications for a regular part-time Facilities Assistant. This role involves a variety of tasks to support the department's facilities and events.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license
- Good communication and customer service skills are a must
Responsibilities
- Answering phones
- Collecting fees for registrations and rentals
- Preparing and securing the facilities for events
- Assisting customers, participants, and volunteers as needed
- Monitoring league games, tournaments, and special events
- Maintaining and operating equipment
- Working special events and other related duties
- Option to work paid specials
