About The Position

Technical Professionals Group (TPG) is seeking a motivated, dependable, safety-focused employee to support an automotive testing company at the Arizona Mobility Test Center in Wittmann, Arizona. The role supports facilities and track maintenance across 12,000 acres of Sonoran Desert and 80 miles of asphalt and dirt tracks. The posting describes the role as a Facilities Supervisor/Electrician and emphasizes organization, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and keeping safety as the top priority. This is a safety-sensitive position; people assigned to the activity must be drug free. The role coordinates facilities and track maintenance teams, supports training, and performs general facility and grounds maintenance. It oversees proving-ground track maintenance and onsite projects, maintains equipment and tools in safe working order, and helps resolve electrical-control, mechanical, and plumbing issues. When needed, the employee operates heavy equipment and uses it for site preparation and maintenance of tracks, parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and buildings.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle driving record.
Prior experience operating heavy equipment and maintaining that equipment.
Prior experience with light construction and general building maintenance.
Be highly organized, dedicated to assignments, and committed to safety.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse and challenging environment.
Good command of English, with written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform the essential job functions, including pushing, turning, and/or pulling controls.
Must be drug free for this safety-sensitive position.

Nice To Haves

Extensive knowledge of electrical distribution and heavy machinery operation and capabilities; preferred but not required.
Spanish-speaking ability.

Responsibilities

Assist with coordinating the facilities and track maintenance teams.
Coordinate training for new and existing facilities and track maintenance team members.
Conduct general facility and grounds maintenance for the Arizona Mobility Test Center.
Oversee proving-ground track maintenance.
Assist technicians with facilities and buildings as needed.
Maintain equipment and tools and ensure they are safe and usable in accordance with company health and safety regulations.
Fill in as needed to operate loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, graders, sweepers, water trucks, and other equipment.
Use equipment to prepare building sites for exterior maintenance and improvements on proving-ground tracks, parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and buildings.
Oversee onsite projects for local code compliance.
Troubleshoot electrical controls, mechanical issues, and plumbing issues through resolution.
Maintain the facilities work-order system, assign work orders, and follow them through to completion.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
