About The Position

Tommy’s is looking for a Facilities and Maintenance Technician to perform routine building inspections and preventative maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.), including general cleaning/organizing and other tasks as assigned for current 3 campus facilities – additional forthcoming.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • Views customer care as high priority; exhibits a positive can-do attitude
  • Displays a strong initiative and drive to identify gaps and fill them.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair and maintain all mechanical assets (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/safety systems).
  • Perform on-going preventative maintenance and repair work on facility and operational/manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform facility inspections, prepare and submit reports of conditions in the building and recommend action plans, including cost associated with repairs.
  • Support any after hours building needs and activities as required.
  • Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed.
  • Repair, maintain, monitor all equipment and amenities (All 3 facilities).
  • Clean windows and glass doors, as needed.
  • Change all filters for HVAC as required.
  • Change light bulbs (interior and exterior), and all manual repairs (hardware, fix doors and all mechanisms throughout all 3 facilities), as needed.
  • On call maintenance for all facilities, 24/7.
  • Maintain exterior property, including facilities landscaping.
  • Maintain all company fleet vehicles (routine maintenance, repairs, cleaning/detailing).
  • Accompany contractors for work not able to be performed or outside of scope.
  • Complete work orders assigned through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.
