About The Position

This position is responsible for general upkeep and maintenance of grounds, operational systems, greenhouse equipment, and utility vehicles. The employee helps maintain a safe working culture and performs cleaning, repair, installation, and groundskeeping tasks in support of company operations. Greenhouse experience is beneficial but not required.

Requirements

• The posting lists 3–5 years of well-rounded maintenance experience, while also stating that the role is entry-level and requires no previous experience.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and good judgment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and requests.
• Strong work ethic, flexibility with work hours, and eagerness to learn.
• Able to stand, walk, climb, stoop, and crouch for an entire shift with minimal breaks.
• Able to regularly lift 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to wear gloves and other required safety PPE.
• Able to work in hot, humid, and cool temperatures.
• Able to maintain focus and consistency during scheduled work hours.

Nice To Haves

• Greenhouse environment experience.
• Trade-specific training, an apprenticeship, or equivalent training and proven hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and organize greenhouses, the dock area, driveways, and outside field-growing areas.
• Assist in maintaining and repairing systems, including inflation, electrical, plumbing, generators, boilers, and production equipment.
• Assist in repairing and installing new systems and greenhouses.
• Assist with grounds maintenance, including mowing, weeding, trimming, cleanup, debris removal, and snow removal.
• Assist with mechanical repairs on golf carts, pickup trucks, EZ Go vehicles, skid steers, forklifts, scissor lifts, and other greenhouse vehicles.
• Safely use tools and equipment in accordance with company safety standards.
• Promote a safe working culture.
• Perform additional duties as required by company operating needs and as directed by range management.
