Provides districtwide leadership within a specific content area or instructional focus to ensure high-quality, standards-aligned teaching and learning. Leads curriculum development, professional learning, and instructional alignment efforts while building educator capacity and supporting continuous improvement across schools. Specifically, the Facilitator III: Lead Facilitator (Assessment) provides districtwide leadership, coordination, compliance, and technical expertise in the administration, implementation, and continuous improvement of state and local assessment processes. This position serves as a subject matter expert in assessment literacy, data analysis, and assessment administration, supporting schools and district leaders in accessing and using assessment results to improve student achievement and organizational effectiveness. Working collaboratively with the Director of Data Science, school leaders, instructional staff, and the Colorado Department of Education (CDE), the Assessment Facilitator leads the planning, coordination, training, and implementation of district- and state-required assessments, as well as other local assessments. The position serves as the District's primary point of contact for state assessment administration, ensuring compliance with state and federal testing requirements, maintaining test security, coordinating School Assessment Coordinators (SACs), integrating assessment accommodations for students with plans, and monitoring assessment fidelity through school testing audits. The Facilitator III: Lead Facilitator (Assessment) designs and delivers districtwide professional learning focused on assessment administration, data access, assessment literacy, and data-informed instructional practices. The position predicts and analyzes district, school, subgroup, and student performance data to identify trends, achievement gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement, and supports the development of Unified Improvement Plans (UIPs), program evaluation, and strategic, data-informed planning. In addition, the Facilitator III: Lead Facilitator (Assessment) partners with district departments to improve assessment processes, expand access to actionable data, and strengthen the District's culture of continuous improvement through accurate reporting, research, and evidence-based decision-making.
