About The Position
A double board-certified facial plastic surgeon with offices in Queens and on Manhattan's Upper East Side is adding a coordinator to the Forest Hills team. The practice focuses on facelifts, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery and reconstruction after skin cancer. Patients here are often making a very personal decision, so the practice wants someone calm and polished who can guide them from consultation to recovery.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a plastic surgery, facial plastic surgery or dermatology office
- Comfortable discussing procedure costs, financing and deposits with prospective patients
- Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems
- Polished phone and in-person manner suited to a high-end cosmetic practice
Responsibilities
- Book procedures and follow-up visits
- Present surgical quotes and collect deposits
- Review pre-op and post-op instructions
- Gather medical clearances
- Keep charts complete in the EMR
- Coordinate the surgeon's time between the two offices
