About The Position

Access 2 Interpreters, LLC, is seeking Face to Face Interpreters who are fluent in Thai, Taishanese, Laotian, Khmer, Cambodian, and/or Korean. As a face-to-face interpreter, you will use your language skills to assist individuals during medical, social service, and other types of appointments. This role offers a flexible schedule and good pay, allowing you to earn money based on the number of assignments you take. It is a rewarding opportunity to utilize your bilingual skills to help those in need.

Requirements

Located in the Central Ohio area.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints.
Pass a 10-panel drug screening.
Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours (e.g. Bridging the Gap, Access 2 Interpreters' "Access Academy", Court Interpretation, Certificate or Degree in interpretation from an accredited college or university).
Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited testing and evaluation organization.
Fluent in English and Thai, Taishanese, Laotian, Khmer, Cambodian, and/or Korean.

Nice To Haves

No previous professional interpretation experience is required.
English as a second language (ESL) speakers are welcome.
