About The Position

Access 2 Interpreters, LLC, is seeking Hebrew Language Interpreters for face-to-face interpretation assignments. As a face-to-face interpreter, you will use your language skills to assist individuals during medical, social service, and other types of appointments. This role offers a flexible schedule with good pay and is a rewarding way to utilize your bilingual skills to help those in need. Assignments are available 24/7/365, with most occurring during business hours. Interpreters have the flexibility to accept as many or as few assignments as they choose.

Requirements

Located in the Central Ohio area.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check (fingerprints) and a 10-panel drug screening.
Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours (e.g., Bridging the Gap, Access Academy, Court Interpretation, Certificate or Degree in interpretation from an accredited college or university).
Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited testing and evaluation organization.

Nice To Haves

Multilingual with English and Hebrew proficiency.
No previous professional interpretation experience is required.
English as a second language (ESL) speakers are welcome.

Responsibilities

Provide face-to-face interpretation services for medical, social service, and other appointments.
Utilize Hebrew and English language skills to facilitate communication between parties.
Accept or decline available interpretation assignments based on personal schedule.
